This web site serves as a digital representation featuring my event management portfolio and resume.  The focus on both the Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis Campus Center and the Indiana State Museum displays several
aspects of my professional skills as a leader and also as a team member.  The
links on the right sidebar may be used to view individual pages. 

As part of a team that opened the new Campus Center at IUPUI, I gained valuable educational skills as well as improved my problem-solving abilities.  For the first time in forty years, the IU Alumni and Foundation events have mingled with student organizations, symposiums and receptions both large and small in one building. Meeting donors that were part of the development team reinforced the impact that donors have on students – as future donors-in-training.

At the Indiana State Museum, my office generated $1.2 million that supplemented both the museum and its private fundraising entity - the Indiana State Museum Foundation, Inc.  Our quality customer service increased our viability with an ever-expanding list of clients that included: state legislators, museum foundation donors, corporate and private clients, Fortune 500 companies and museum donor cultivation and exhibit openings, public programs and education workshops.

My references will advise you that I’m highly motivated, innovative, enthusiastic, and a very creative achiever who excels in managing complex events from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment.   My years of experience have taught me to develop long-range business plans, prioritize department goals, anticipate problems, provide credible resolutions and ensure the delivery of quality events and services within tight deadlines and even tighter budgets.  

My unique experiences have given me the opportunity to examine past events and create ways to improve future events.  The business acumen I have gained taught me to propose projects, present budgets and event timelines as well as negotiate contracts and develop competitive vendor sourcing for optimum results.
